Shadow is a sweet, gentle soul who is finding his feet more and more each day. It doesn't take long for his curiosity to be peaked and then he'll venture over for some fuss. He has a measured, deliberate way about him and he'll come for a sniff first, then nudge into you for fuss and then before you know it he is sat by your side looking for more. He has his playful moments too and would really welcome a quiet, laid back home where he can get to know you and then he'll definitely be coming out of the shadows so you can see his true colours. Medical conditions?Shadow arrived at Mayhew at the end of October after his owner was not coping with having quite a few cats in the home. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. During his stay he has had had some treatment for gingivitis as well as a tooth rubbing against the gums below. Things are now much improved and you should just monitor things in the home going forward.
