Malik

Malik is a big hunky man who is full of beans. Maybe a bit too many but that's just because he is a bit unsure of things and is trying to find his way in his new surroundings. Once he has come out of hiding he is usually very eager to say hello and will rub against you and seek out lots of fuss. He gets a bit overstimulated when he says hello and can give you a little nip to let you know when he needs a bit of space. He just gets a bit overwhelmed so would prefer a home which can understand this side of him and allow him the time and space to find his way. He would be ok to live with children so long as they can read the signs when he has had enough and know not to push things while he is finding his way. So, if Malik is the Mog or all Mog's keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves...

Other Notes

Malik arrived at Mayhew at the middle of November after his owner was no longer able to care for him due to her poor health. He arrived with Oreo & Shadow the Hedgehog. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Malik and Oreo share a cabin and they could be rehomed together or individually so please specify on your application if you are interested in just Malik or both. We feel Malik may do well with another cat in general too so could be an option to live with your own cat if they are cat friendly.
