  • Rehome a working cat

We are looking for landowners, stables, farms, garden centres, and other rural locations who would be willing to offer a safe home to working cats that wouldn’t thrive in a traditional pet home.

    Troy

Troy is a shy boy looking for an alternative home. He is a 2 year old neutered male. He would enjoy an outdoor space to explore with the option of going into a house on his own terms if he wanted to. He will often sit alongside people and is comfortable to do his own thing around people, but he is very shy of physical contact and needs the space to approach if he wishes. He does like to lounge on a sofa so he may wander in when he's feeling more comfortable around you. We feel it would benefit him to go somewhere that he could have the option of contact and freedom to roam.

    Charlie

Charlie is looking for a outdoor home where he can have social interaction if he chooses. He is a 1.5 year old neutered male. He is used to living outside, with multiple feeders and is happy to come closer than most, but isn't a great fan of being touched. We believe that he has spent the vast majority of his life, if not all, living outside, supported by his feeders. Given time he may form a bond and have a head scratch or two as he did sometimes allow this from one of his feeders, but being allowed the choice to engage is the key for this boy. In the cattery environment he is often out watching what is going on but does not want to be handled or petted in any way. He is most interactive during feeding time and will come closer to us for his meals. We believe he is not used to home life at all as he doesn't understand a litter tray unless there is soil in his tray rather than litter and would be happiest choosing to be outdoors.

    Glennis

Glennis is showing signs in the cattery that she is not comfortable being around people at all and due to her being abandoned on our doorstep, we have no background history on her. The only time she comes out is for food and to use the toilet, but this is usually when it is quiet, and no one is around. For this reason, we think she would be happy with minimal contact and someone who is happy to feed her and provide her needs without the expectation of something in return. Glennis is a 2 year old neutered female.
