Sweet Ruby was our longest-staying cat, arriving at Mayhew after losing both her home and her owner. Over ten-years old, she was understandably wary of new people and needed time to adjust.
At Mayhew, she had plenty of patience, a calm environment, and all the care she needed to regain her confidence. Now in her forever home, Ruby is thriving - her adopters tell us she’s "enjoying a good fuss and, of course, her food!"
