Often we’re faced with heartbreaking scenes: tiny kittens abandoned in rain-soaked cardboard boxes, dogs tied to lampposts in the freezing cold, and animals left outside our doors overnight, desperately seeking shelter.

Poor Luna was found outside Mayhew on a cold December night, last year. She had a worryingly large lump on her neck and could barely walk on her back legs. She was clearly in a lot of pain, absolutely terrified, and freezing cold.
Thanks to supporters like you, we had the funds to provide her with all the treatment and rehabilitation she needed to get back on four paws. But in the last two years, the cost of providing this dedicated care has gone up significantly.
