Zena

Beautiful Zena is ready to fill your home with love and her big ears! Zena is shy and sensitive but also fun and loving. She is interested in the world around her, including people and other dogs, but can be nervous so will need someone understanding to help her build her confidence. She is eager to learn and since being here, has already come out of her shell a lot. She is looking for an active home with owners who have the time and patience to continue her training and socialisation. She may also benefit from doing dog sports such as rally training or agility once she is fully grown. Zena is ready to start a new life in a home where she can have all the love and cuddles she deserves!

Other Notes

Zena could live in a flat with direct access to a private garden but can be vocal at times, so this should be taken into consideration. She could live with sensible teenagers of 14+ as long as they have lived with a dog before and will help with her training. She could live with a calm, well adjusted, adult dog that will be a good influence on her, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. She could also potentially live with a dog confident cat as long as her owners with facilitate slow intros and teach her not to chase! Her new owners will receive three free 1-2-1 sessions with our Mayhew Clinical Animal Behaviourist. Zena has been microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Zena will need to return to Mayhew on a specified date for neutering. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
