Little Leia is a fun, energetic puppy ready to bounce into her new home. She is a confident young girl who enjoys spending time with people and making new friends. She can be excitable but also has a sweet, affectionate side. Leia will grow up to be an active, medium/large size dog, requiring plenty of mental and physical stimulation and may benefit from doing dogs sports such as Agility, Mantrailing or Flyball when she is older. She is looking for a fully committed owner who will continue her training and socialisation to ensure she grows up to be a sociable and well-adjusted adult dog. Leia is ready to go on lots of new adventures with her new owners and learn all about the world!

Other Notes

Leia can live in a flat with direct access to an enclosed garden. She is looking for a home where there will be someone around most of the time, building up the time she is left alone, slowly. She can live with sensible older teens of 16 years of age and upwards providing they give her space when needed and aren't worried by her excitable nature. She could live with another well matched dog, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew and could also potentially live with a dog-confident cat if her new owner is willing to facilitate careful and slow introductions and teach her not to chase. Leia is looking for an owner who has, ideally, previously owned a dog of her breed type, or who is knowledgeable about the breed. Leia will need to return to us on a specified date in the future for neutering. She has been microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
