    Dexter

Beautiful Dexter lacks self-confidence and is one of life's worriers. He can't cope with city life, overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of urban living, he would be happiest living in a rural area. He's super active and playful, he's certainly no couch potato! He'll need an active owner able to keep him both mentally and physically stimulated.

    Other Notes

Dexter is currently living in a foster home until his new forever home is found. He's an extremely timid dog who is looking for an experienced owner, someone who has as an adult independently owned dogs before, ideally one with fear issues. He is looking for a calm and quiet home in a rural or semi-rural area. His new owner will need to be at home for most of the time where he won't be left home-alone for more than a couple of hours on the occasional basis. He can live with calm, sensible, dog-savvy children from twelve years of age and upwards. He’s looking for a dedicated, patient owner, someone who has the time to continue his training and socialisation and can cope with a high energy yet timid dog. Ideally someone who will eventually progress to doing dog-sports with him, like agility or flyball, once he's gained enough confidence. Dexter has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
