    Clover

Clever Clover is hoping she'll be lucky in finding her forever home - preferably one where she can snuggle up with her human after a full day of adventures. She's a fun-loving, affectionate girl who is super bouncy! Although she can be over the top in her greeting methods, she has shown great improvement whilst with us & has a good willingness to learn. Before arriving at Mayhew, Clover had very little training & minimal socialisation with other dogs. She can be reactive towards other dogs when on her lead, stemming from a frustration of wanting to meet dogs but not knowing how to do it appropriately. Off her lead she will greet dogs in a more calm manner, occasionally becoming uncomfortable. This beautiful girl is looking for an active & patient owner who will guide her. They will be experienced with dogs & knowledgeable about dog behaviour and have the time to dedicate to her ongoing training & socialisation needs. In return they will gain a fun, goofy and loyal, life-long friend.

    Other Notes

Clover would suit active owners, with plenty of time and patience to continue her training and socialisation. She could live with, and would enjoy living with, dog-savvy sensible teenagers providing they have lived with dogs before and will be consistent with her training. She’ll need a home with someone who is at home during the day and who will build up the time she spends home alone, gradually. She could live in a ground floor flat, with direct access to a private garden but can be vocal at times so this should be taken into consideration. Clover has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
