    Bungle

Handsome Bungle is a big boy with an even bigger character. He can be suspicious of strangers, and it can take him a little while to warm to new people but once he’s been introduced properly and a bond has been built his playful and affectionate side knows no bounds! He is looking for an experienced owner who is knowledgeable about dog body language, who has plenty of time on their hands to continue his training and help him feel secure. Other Notes

When Bungle arrived at Mayhew he was suffering from a condition called entropion. This is where the eyelids fold inwards causing inflammation of the corneas and discomfort as well as effecting his vision. He had surgery on both eyes which was successful however his vision is likely to remain reduced for the long term.Bungle is not particularly sociable with other dogs, he finds interactions stressful and he can be grumpy with some dogs. For this reason we would prefer to find him a home in a rural, semi rural or low dog populated area, where he can enjoy his controlled walks on a longline without bumping into lots of other dogs. Bungle could live in a flat providing it has direct access to a private garden. However, he can sometimes be vocal when left alone so this should be taken into consideration. Bungle is looking for someone who has independently, as an adult, owned dogs before and has thoroughly researched his breed type. He’ll need an all adult home, without too many visitors and no visiting young children. Bungle has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
