    Brandy

Brandy is a friendly and loving dog looking for her retirement home. Despite her age, she is still a spirited girl and greets most things in life with a tail wag. She is very affectionate with people and can sometimes be vocal to try and get what she wants! She is always up for an adventure and loves a game with her tennis ball. She is happy to meet certain dogs but will prefer not to interact at times, so is looking for an owner who will be able to read when she is uncomfortable and move her away when needed.

    Other Notes

Brandy can live with teenagers 14 + providing they have lived with or have previous experience with dogs. She could live in a ground floor flat with direct access to a garden but adopter's will need to bare in mind her vocal nature at times. She has had a dental descale and polish while at Mayhew. Her dental health can be assisted with daily maintenance such as teeth cleaning of the pet by her new adopters. Brandy has had 5 lumps removed which were found to be cancerous, there are no signs of cancer spread, and suggested life expectancy for Brandy in regards to the cancer could be 1-2 years. There is a small chance of the lumps recurring so the adopter should be monitoring for this. If the adopter has any medical concern then they should seek advice from their vet. Brandy has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
