    Beanie

Little Beanie is a sweet natured and affectionate girl with a lot of love to give. She enjoys going out and about but can get a little worried at times so needs an owner who will be able to read when she is uncomfortable and reassure her when needed. She is friendly and happy to meet other dogs but will tell them off if she feels they are too full on with her. Her absolute favourite thing to do is snuggle up with her handler for a fuss so is looking for an owner who will enjoy having a furry companion on their lap or at their side when settling down after a good adventure.

    Other Notes

Beanie has been found to have a heart arrhythmia while at Mayhew. We have not seen her show any clinical symptoms related to this and only investigated after our vets heard the abnormality during a physical examination. An ECG reading suggests that the arrhythmia currently is not one that would require treatment, however, adoptive owners may choose to have further investigations done at their own vet. Beanie gets quite stressed when left alone so is looking for a calm and peaceful home where she will not be left and can take the time she needs to grow in confidence. She could live in a flat, with access to a garden, but can be vocal at times so this should be taken into consideration. She could live with sensible teenagers providing they have experience or have lived with dogs previously. She could also potentially live with a dog confident cat that has lived with dogs before. Beanie has been neutered, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
