Sweet-natured Banjo hasn’t had the best start in life. He’s a sensitive soul who can sometimes be worried around new people and will occasionally bark at strangers he’s unsure of. However he is quick to make friends with people he’s properly introduced to. He’s always up for a game with his toys and he loves nothing more than to lean on you for love and attention. He also enjoys his creature comforts, a sofa or armchair to curl up in and he is very food motivated!

Meet All DogsBanjo arrived at Mayhew in a poor condition: underweight, an injury to his tail and he had poor skin condition. With appropriate care these have now resolved. He is looking for an owner who has researched his breed type and has an understanding of the sighthound breed traits. Someone who will continue his training and socialisation and will work with him to build up his self confidence. He can live with sensible teenagers provided they have lived with dogs before but he wouldn’t appreciate a hectic and busy household. He’ll thrive in calm home with understanding owners, who are willing give him time to settle in. Banjo has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
