Handsome Astro is an active, playful boy looking for an equally active owner. He is very intelligent and keen to learn, responding well to training. Astro enjoys being out and about but can show worry towards unfamiliar objects or things he is not expecting (such as a suspicious looking plastic bag, billowing in the wind!), so will need continued reassurance and guidance in this area, to help boost his confidence. He is friendly with other dogs and enjoys meeting and playing with them but will need on going training and socialisation to help him understand he cannot meet every dog he sees and when it is time to move on! Astro thrives in human company but can be worried around being handled and will need further positive training and support in this area. This charming boy will make a wonderful, loving companion for a person/family that have the time, patience and dedication to ensure his physical and mental needs are met.

Other Notes

Astro is looking for an all adult home with owners that, ideally, have owned dogs before and are knowledgeable about bull breeds. His new owner will be expected to continue his training and will receive three free 1:1 sessions with our Mayhew Animal Behaviourist to help guide them. Astro can live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a private garden. Astro has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Lastly, every dog adopted from us will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
