Tilly

Tilly is a sweet girl who is just a bit on the shy side and needs a little time to warm up and get to know you. Once she’s feeling comfortable, she loves a little head scratch and will reach out to you and ask for a little bit more. One of her favourite ways to show affection is to roll over and make air biscuits! She can be a bit of a sensitive soul at times and would appreciate a quiet home with people who will give her the space and time she needs to settle in. So, if Tilly is the Tabby you've always wanted, keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and can give her the fur-ever home she deserves…

Other Notes

Tilly arrived at Mayhew at the start of February after she was found living as a stray. She been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. We have noticed that Tilly has what is called an anterior synechiae of the left eye. This has shown up as opacity and distortion to her left eye and means that she had an old injury and the iris & cornea have healed together. It is unlikely to affect her vision and hasn't required any treatment. Tilly has also had some flu symptoms since she's been here in the form of sneezing but it has not required any treatment.
