Meet our wonderful boy Papaya who is ready to add some Vitamin C (for Cuddles) into your life. After being abandoned in a carrier, this boy deserves nothing but the best fur-ever home to go to. He is such a loving boy who adores a lap snuggle, and he is also a pro biscuit maker when he's getting lots of attention! Papaya wants nothing more than lots of fuss, snuggles and love. Sadly we believe that he was taken away from his mum too early as he suckles clothing and blankets a lot when he is being stroked, but it's a sweet little quirk that makes him even more endearing. He can be a little shy when he first settles but it doesn't take him long to find his paws, and once he does, he charms anyone who meets him! If you want to add some sweet fruity freshness into your life Papaya could be the purr-fect match for you so please keep on reading.....
Papaya arrived at Mayhew after being sadly found abandoned outside of a restaurant in a carrier. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
Papaya is that rare breed of feline – the Cuddle Cat! When he first arrived, we thought he’d want to play like our previous kittens so we got out all our kitten toys. However, he very politely but firmly let us know that even a minute spent not being stroked or curled on a lap was a minute wasted! He now likes to play as well, and will happily chase string and ping pong balls, but he still loves cuddles best. I think he’s the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met, and I’ve been lucky enough to meet a few real softies! He also loves his food and always asks for a taste of whatever you’re having.
Papaya has found their forever home! Meet our other animals that are looking for a home.
