Paddy is a very handsome boy with his distinguished white Whisker and is the clear favourite in anything he does! He Likes to do his thing and potter about his surroundings, always living his best life. He will pop over for a few strokes but would rather snooze in the sun than hang out on your lap. He has a friendly nature but will give the odd nip if he has had enough fuss. It's just all about reading the signals with Paddy and leaving him be when he wants some alone time. He’d ideally need a cat flap fitted regardless of your working hours and would prefer an all adult home as he likes the quiet life. So if your odds on that you want to go to Paddy-land make sure you keep reading to be sure you can give him the fur-ever home he deserves...

How Rehoming WorksPaddy has had some dental treatment while at Mayhew. He arrived with multiple teeth missing and his remaining teeth needed a descale and polish. More recently (from early August) he has been scratching around his head and neck area. He had some dandruff and bits of fur falling out along with some small scabs. The cause is unknown but tests show he likely has an allergy. He was given steroid treatment which helped his skin and is now just eating a special food diet to help keep things under control. It's important to keep him up to date with flea & worming treatments and to minimise any stress. Like all our cats Paddy has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (at least 1st given) and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
Paddy is a very easy going cat, he eats anything and never disturbs us at night. He doesn't scratch the furniture or eat the plants. Most of the time he likes to do his own thing, but sometimes seeks us out and sits near us, wanting attention on his own terms. He loves to go out, but doesn't go very far. He has been left alone all day on a number of occasions and doesn't appear to mind at all. He seems very self contained and happy doing his thing.
