Night

Night is looking for a new beginning from her current foster home and she is not a cat not to be underestimated and is breaking the stereotype that the older cats have had their day in the sun. She is definitely still full of beans and is partial to climbing up the cabin door to her perch on high. She also likes a cosy lap to rest on and is very affectionate. She loves her grub and gets a little excitable when its mealtime. Once her tummy is full and she is happy and content she shows off her gentle, loving nature. She is very sweet and has tons of character and is bursting at the seams to show you why all the fun times happen after dark! Night times rule with this friendly feline! You will need to come in for an interview to assess your suitability and if successful you can go forward to meet Night in her current home environment.

Other Notes

Night is currently living in a temporary foster home until her new forever home is found. She is a lovely girl who is ok to be left for a full working day provided a cat flap is fitted. She does enjoy a nice lap to sit on but will be quite happy with an interesting garden to explore as well. Based on her past history and current temperament she can live with Children aged 5+ as she is living in a foster home with a young child. This is also dependent on if she likes who she meets, isn’t scared or fearful and that those she meets are also calm and respectful towards her. Every adoption is unique and we want to make sure all our cats are happy and cared for so we recommend pet insurance and you must register with a local vet. Vet costs vary so please look into the expense involved in caring for a cat. Night has been neutered, microchipped, 1st vaccine (at least) given and is up to date with her flea & worm treatments. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed which all help to guide our re-homing criteria. Night has been treated for a few bits and bobs while she has been at Mayhew. She started off with having a tooth taken out and clean and polish of the rest. She had a bit of an upset tummy too which is now all fine like her teeth. The only lingering issue have been her ears as they have been a bit dirty form time to time and needed some ear cleaner to do the job. This is something you may need to continue in the home but as it stands she is ok.
