Other Notes

Lufy arrived at Mayhew towards the start of February after her owners developed some allergies and were unable to provide her a garden to explore. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. During her stay we noted some mild scabbing around her neck likely caused by some scratching due to some fleas present on arrival. She has also had some cat flu symptoms in the form of some sneezing this has needed no treatment and should be monitored in the home. Keeping up to date with vaccinations will help lessen any symptoms should she have any flare ups in the future. She has occasionally not always been using her litter tray, but she was fine in her previous home and we have changed a few things that have meant she has now been using it normally once again.
