Behind every great person is an even greater cat and Kitt Shakespeare has been the source of many a tall tail in his time. This splendiferous chap is looking for a large not so humble adobe to call his own. Ideally with an enclosed garden for extra shenanigans. Yes, Kitt doth protest too much if he is without food and if he sees an empty bowl before him, he will not be best pleased. He loves his grub and cuddles and before long will be snoozing on your bed as he serenades you with purr filled sonnets. He would prefer an adult only home as he does like to debate the notion to nibble or not to nibble fingers, that is the question! Above all he needs someone familiar with his needs so he can be your midsummer’s night dream. So, if you think Shakespeare is such stuff as dreams are made of then keep reading to be sure you can give him the fur-ever home he deserves…

Shakespeare has FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This is a virus that attacks the immune system meaning Shakespeare's is not as good as it should be. The virus usually progresses very slowly and so long as you are proactive with his care and keep him up to date with his vaccinations and parasite control, he should lead a happy normal life without things progressing to become Feline Aids. He has also had a tooth removed which has healed up well and does have some acne on his chin. This needs to be bathed a couple of times a day but is improving all the time. He has also been behaviourally assessed and given preventative care in the form of neutering, vaccinations, flea and worming treatments and microchipping. He will also need a large indoor property with ideally a minimum of 2 bedrooms as any indoor cat deserves as much space as possible.
Shakespeare is an affectionate charmer who enjoys having his head scratched and perching on my chest, where he sits, goes to sleep, or grooms himself for a while. He is confident in his own company but will also hang out in whatever room I’m in. Rather a food lover, he likes to supervise anything I do in the kitchen and will often look out of a window or sit on the desk when I’m at my computer. His favourite game is chasing after bits of kibble and treats I throw for him to ‘hunt’. Once a piece is eaten, he comes back to ask me to throw another. I think he could play at that all day, given the chance. Shakespeare is a pleasure to have around and makes a great companion.
