Janelle could be the dictionary definition for a lot of words. Sassy, curious, playful, affectionate or naughty. She is clearly a wonderful character actress and is a busy little ginger bee who likes to do her thing. She will need a home willing to give her lots of interesting things to do and be prepared for when she shows off her grumpy side. She will equally purr on our lap or give you a whack and this girl will need a cat flap fitted regardless of your working hours. She would probably do best in an all-adult home as we are looking for someone with experience with cats and a stable home with an interesting garden to explore when the time comes. So, if Janelle looks like jolly good fun and you can keep up with all her shenanigans keep reading to be sure you can give her the fur-ever home she deserves…
Janelle has been reserved. Please take a look at our other animals looking for homes.
Meet All CatsJanelle has had an episode of vomiting and soft motions during her time at Mayhew. Stress is the most likely cause but she was treated with some meds and seems to be back to normal now. Like all our cats Janelle has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment.
Janelle is a pretty princess, playful and inquisitive. She likes to investigate the inside of cupboards and drawers, opening the latter if she can. She enjoys her grub and takes it upon herself to be my food and tea taster when she gets the chance. Happy to explore on her own, she will usually settle by me whichever room I’m in. At night she sleeps on the bed on a blanket by my feet. One of her favourite positions is to lie across my collarbone with her head on my left shoulder, purring and soliciting head and cheek strokes whilst swishing her tail, or gently falling asleep. Knowing her own mind, Janelle can be a bit sassy at times, but she is an adorable little rascal. Life here will be dull without her.
