Meet our sweet little Jayne who is the last of the J-Kittens looking for her fur-ever home. Jayne is a gentle soul who needs a bit more time to get to know you. She's a bundle of joy and will always keep you on your toes with her playful antics, which is a great way to get in some bonding time and get her out to trust you! Once she's given that time to settle she's out making biscuits and purring away on your lap wanting cuddles. She could live with children who are chilled and confident around cats as she'll need a chance to find her paws. She really enjoys playing with the children in her Foster home, so would be a great little companion. If you can open your home and heart to Jayne keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and give her the the fur-ever home she deserves...
Jayne arrived at Mayhew in mid October along with her siblings the J-Kittens after they came in with their Mum Jade. Jade gave birth to them in someone's garden and they were taken inside to be cared for for the first few weeks of their life. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. In the time that they've been here the J-Kittens have had a bit of soft faeces, but it has not needed any medical treatment.
Jayne is a stunning and very sweet black kitten, with a big heart and ears to match! She was very timid when she first came to foster with us, but now at the end of a week she has amazed us all by turning out to be the most loving and playful kitten ever! She particularly loves children, and will play with them until they’re all exhausted! She also loves to sit on your lap and be stroked. That’s when you’ll hear her lovely, loud purr! Comments from Teddy, aged 5: “She’s playful. She loves string and I think her favourite colour is dark blue because she likes the dark blue ping pong ball best. She’s nice. She’s my best friend, but I know we can’t keep her because we already have two cats. I want her to get her best home.”
Jayne has been reserved. Please take a look at our other animals looking for homes.
