Gavin just needs the chance to get to know you and when he does, he loves nothing more than to mark you as his own and is actually quite enthusiastic about giving you lots of head rubs and invading your personal space. He likes his fuss and will come over to greet you if he feels safe and secure but he does have a sensitive side which needs nurturing so he can feel loved in a place of his own. He would probably prefer an all-adult home as he will let you know if he isn’t in the mood but for the most part he enjoys the quiet, chilled out lifestyle and the chance to potter about with his humans. So, if you fancy having a bit of Gavin in your life, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…
Gavin has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations and flea and worming treatment. He arrived at Mayhew as a stray cat in mid July after living out and about on the streets for a while. He is too friendly not to have had a home at some point in his past so hopefully his next home will love him for a lifetime.
If you are interested in adopting Gavin, please read the information below including the 'Other notes' section, to check your circumstances match theirs. If they do, please take a look at our current rehoming process, and fill out an application form.
