Felix is a gorgeous older lady who is very particular about who she deems worthy of her attention and if she decides you're acceptable she will remain loyal to your advances. She will need time to get to know you and when she settles in she particularly enjoys having behind her ears scratched and sitting on the window to watch the birds and squirrels outside. She has a playful side too and loves her whale and mouse toy that she carries about the house. She's not needy but can be startled by loud noises and will need her own garden with a cat flap fitted so she can explore her own space on her terms. Please see below more info about Felix’s health and a word from her current foster carer.
Felix has had a thyroidectomy as she had hyperthyroidism. The surgery was successful so needs no further treatment but you should be aware that the condition may recur in her other thyroid gland in the future. With Felix being an older cat, she will need regular veterinary check-ups to make sure she is fit and healthy (e.g. blood pressure, kidney function and thyroid etc). She has also had some teeth removed as well as a clean and polish of the rest.
Felix is a lovely senior cat who really enjoys her food. She has recovered really well from her health issues and is now a very healthy happy cat. In the evening she tends to get the zoomies and will often run around with her soft toy mouse in her own game of cat and mouse. She enjoys a little fuss including a scratch behind her ears but only if she is in the mood. Felix is generally very low maintenance spending a lot of time sleeping, day dreaming and cuddling with her unicorn but also very affectionate when she is in the mood and will nudge your hand or arm to let you know she wants attention. She doesn’t like loud noises and will be happiest in a calm, quiet house home.
