Falkor arrived at Mayhew at the start of January after she was found by a bin and then could not be kept as her finder had a dog. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. During her stay she had some treatment for watery eyes/conjunctivitis which has recurred so should be monitored in the home. This has responded well to any treatment. On arrival we also noticed Falkor was showing signs of having Ringworm. This has been successfully treated and she has also had two results come back negative meaning she can finally find a loving place to call home. Her mantra is definitely true in that if you don't give up, good luck will find you in the end.
