Chip is looking for a new beginning from his current foster home. He is is a sweet little boy who loves his toys. He will play for ages and is happiest when he is chasing things about. He is not fussy and will even bat around a discarded loo roll. The simple pleasures in life are what Chip likes best! He is a shy little soul at first and will need some time to get to know you but when he does he demands his fuss and will even come and gate crash your night’s sleep. He enjoys a garden to potter about in but the main thing for Chip is to take things slow and steady and once he knows and trusts you he relaxes in and you get all the fun of learning all of his quirky habits. You will need to come in for an interview to assess your suitability and if successful you can go forward to meet Chip in his current home environment.

Other Notes

Chip is currently living in a temporary foster home until his new forever home is found and he is ok to be left for a full working day provided a cat flap is fitted. He is bit of a shy boy at first who will need to get to know you so the more you’re about the happier he should become. Based on his past history and current temperament he requires an all adult home. He would respond well to those who have had cats before and can read any signs that he is un-happy or getting a bit stressed out. Every adoption is unique and we want to make sure all our cats are happy and cared for so we recommend pet insurance and you must register with a local vet. Vet costs vary so please look into the expense involved in caring for a cat. Chip has been neutered, microchipped, 1st vaccine (at least) given and is up to date with his flea & worm treatments. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed which all help to guide our re-homing criteria.

Foster Carer Comments

Chip is currently in a foster home waiting to be adopted and this is what his foster carers have to say about him: Chip was very shy at first but has revealed himself to be a real little character who loves his toys – after all, he is only a baby. Once he gets to know you he is very sweet and affectionate – purring loudly while you stroke him – although he is much more reserved with new people and will tend to stay away. His favourite thing in the world is playing with his toys – and he can entertain himself a long while with a ball! He also enjoys exploring the great outdoors – climbing trees and chasing bugs… he’s a bit of an adventurer at heart. He can also be surprisingly clumsy for a cat – more than once he’s fallen off the sofa while rolling around having his tummy tickled – although we think this makes him all the more endearing!
