Carla has had her kittens and now she is ready to settle down into a loving fur-ever home of her own after being such a loving mum to them. She had a difficult time after being found outside of our building in a closed cardboard box with her kitten whilst also being pregnant again. But this didn't get her spirits down or stop her from being the sweetest girl which is just a testament to her loving nature. She loves lots of attention and cuddles, and takes any opportunity to snuggle up on the sofa next to you. Carla is a sociable and confident girl, always out to greet you and look for human company. Another love of hers is food! This girl is always up for a treat or two, but she deserves all the comforts in life and to be treated like a pampered princess after what she's been through. If you can offer Carla the purr-fect home please keep on reading....
Carla arrived at Mayhew in October after being abandoned outside our centre in the middle of the night in a cardboard box with her one kitten. When we took her in we discovered that she was also pregnant and she went on to have seven kittens in Foster care and is now ready to have a home of her own. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Carla had some flu symptoms during her time here and had to be treated with eye drops for it but this has all cleared up now.
I Fostered Carla when she was heavily pregnant, after being left out in the freezing cold. Within minutes she was out of her carrier and owning the place like the queen that she is! She would sit next to me on the sofa and loves cat TV! She is an incredible, confident and friendly girl and was also an excellent mama to her 7 kittens. She is food motivated, and would really benefit from food puzzle games to keep her occupied. Because she loved being held and cuddled she often reminded me of a kitten! She's very regal in looks and personality and anyone would be lucky to have her in their home.
