Both cats have had a few issues but they are ok now and need no treatment for any of their past issues. Brie developed a post op respiratory infection after neutering. She had vomited at the induction of her anesthetic and there was a possibility that she may have aspirated something into her lungs. She was given a course of antibiotics and has made a complete recovery. She was also licking at her spay wound which has now healed up well. Cheddar's spay wound (left flank) became infected two days post neutering. The wound needed to be debrided, flushed and re-sutured. It has now healed, and we have no further concerns. She also needed some eye treatment for some discharge from her eye which is all back to normal. Both cats were also a little bloated on arrival, but this has also settled down with parasite control. Lastly as with all of our cats both Brie & Cheddar have been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least 1st) and flea and worming treatment.
