Boycie is a super affectionate boy who has two main loves in life. Food and cuddles. He thrives on attention and loves to snuggle up with you in bed at night. His cuddliness is fueled by his love of food so watch your dinner plates as Boycie tries to get involved. He knows what he likes and will tell you off when he's not happy about something. If you understand cats then this isn’t a problem as he gives very clear signals to show his displeasure. That just means you can avoid the bad and enjoy all the cuddles you can handle as Boycie likes to take up residence on your lap and make sure that all eyes are on him.
Boycie can be left for up to 6 hours a day as he does like a lot of company. He would also benefit from a cat flap being fitted regardless of your working hours as he is a curious soul. He can live with sensible teenagers who have some previous cat experience which is based on his past history and current temperament. Every adoption is unique and we want to make sure all our cats are happy and cared for so we recommend pet insurance and you must register with a local vet. Vet costs vary so please look into the expense involved in caring for a cat. Boycie has been neutered, microchipped, 1st vaccine (at least) given and is up to date with his flea & worm treatments. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed which all help to guide our re-homing criteria.
Boycie was recently in a foster home and this is what his foster carers had to say about him: Boycie is a happy boy and is enjoying his younger years to the full! Nothing much scares him even though he doesn't exactly love the vacuum cleaner. It's not difficult to win him over, food does it every time and once he's eaten he will normally want a cuddle. Preferably he gets to lay on your chest and nuzzle up to your neck. He also likes to lay on your lap. If he got to decide, he'd spend 24/7 eating and cuddling. He's not picky either, anything or anyone goes! He does have a green toy mouse which he quite enjoys playing with. Suddenly he'll come zooming through the house with the toy mouse in his mouth and he looks so proud. He's definitely a hunter in the making!
