    Archie

Archie is a bit of a shy lad who needs to get to know you first. He is a cheeky little scamp who likes to play and can waste away an afternoon chasing his tail as much as the next cat. He will need a calm, quiet home with people who will let him find his feet and who enjoy lots of play time. He will need to be brushed regularly so he is looking as spiffing as always and would love to find a spot at the end of the bed to curl up on once he feels safe and secure. He is still developing so there is still lots to learn about his temperament but he is partial to some fuss when you distract him with food and in the right home will just keep on getting friendlier. Before he can be reserved any children in the home will have to come and meet him. We have weekend appointments to facilitate this, so be sure to bring all the family down when you come in for an interview.

    Other Notes

Archie is ok to be left for no longer than 4 hours at a time. He can also be re-homed with his Brother Tato but is a bit shy to live with cats he doesn't know. He is a quiet but playful little boy who will need some extra time to settle in. All young cats need extra socialising and supervision and Archie Bean is no different. This will help him develop in to a well-rounded adult cat that can be a happy part of the family. Based on his past history and current temperament, he can live with sensible older teenagers but an all adult home may be better. This will also be dependent on if he likes who he meets, isn’t scared or fearful and that those he meets are also calm and respectful towards him. Every adoption is unique and we want to make sure all our cats are happy and cared for so we recommend pet insurance and you must register with a local vet. Vet costs vary so please look into the expense involved in caring for a cat. Archie has been neutered, microchipped, 1st vaccine (at least) given and is up to date with his flea & worm treatments. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed which all help to guide our re-homing criteria. Archie was a bit worse for wear when he arrived and was treated for some soft motions and vomiting. He has also had a little bit of conjunctivitis too. He is now back on the mend and ready to find a loving home.
