Minnie is a shy little girl who just wants a quiet, calm home where she can potter about and get to know you. She has lost her owner and is still coming to terms with that and her new surroundings which is understandable. It’s very much slow and steady wins the race with Minnie and she has now started to come and sit next to you and with those she likes best, she enjoys some fuss and affection. It’s all about being patient and making Minnie feel safe and secure which is why she'd prefer a nice laid-back home with just adults as she copes best in a relaxed environment. So, if you can give Minnie a mighty nice retirement home, keep reading to see if you could be her purr-fect match and give her the fur-ever home she deserves…
Minnie arrived at Mayhew in mid December after her owner had sadly passed away. She has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment. During her stay with us we noticed a small cut on her chin, this was checked and cleaned and has healed up well and should not need further treatment. What Minnie is after now is a nice retirement home where she can have a happy chilled out life.
