    George

George is a big handsome boy who just wants to come on over and plonk himself on your lap so he can settle in for the afternoon. He is a friendly soul who has a sensitive nature and despite his chunky frame is a bit of a gentle giant. He enjoys his fuss and giving out headbutts and above all having someone to hang out with as he does like to be by your side. He could live with sensible teenagers so long as they respected his sweet, affectionate nature and put George in control of coming over to say hello. So, if Gorgeous George sounds like a winner to you, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves…

    Other Notes

George Arrived at Mayhew at the end of February as a stray cat who could no longer be cared for. He has had people looking out for him but sadly things were getting too much and so has come into our care. Whilst here he has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment and like all our cats will go home with 4weeks free pet insurance. George may possibly be suitable to live with another cat but they would need to be quite calm, possibly younger and also known to have had positive experiences with cats they have directly lived with or meet in the garden so please add this information to any application submitted.
